About Thomàz Mazzei
Thomàz Mazzei is an italian photographer, writer, and graphic designer whose work bridges myth, spirit, and the human condition. With roots in Cosenza, Calabria and now based in Portugal,
he carries with him the perspective of a traveler — shaped by years spent in Brazil, England,
and the United States.
His debut novel, "The Dark Prince: Between Gods and Mortals", introduces readers to worlds where mythology and mortality collide. In his writing, Mazzei blends raw emotion with timeless themes, drawing inspiration from nature, ancient traditions, and the mysteries of life and death. Meanwhile, "Beneath the Dark City", his second book, inspired by real events — a near-fatal motorcycle accident — teaches us about the fragile balance between the seen and the unseen.
Beyond literature, Thomàz is deeply connected to nature and its ecosystems. His photography has been recognized internationally, capturing both the vulnerability and the strength of wildlife, landscapes, and humanity’s place within them.
Through both words and images, he seeks to tell stories that resonate on a soul-deep level,
stories that echo long after the final page is turned.
